Why I Created OSC
Much of my professional work involves proprietary systems, confidential information, and employer-owned materials that cannot be shared publicly. To demonstrate my experience while respecting those boundaries, I created Outerspace Sprocket Company (OSC), a fictional organization that provides a consistent environment for developing and showcasing representative work.
The Work in This Collection
The portfolio includes fictionalized re-creations and adaptations of solutions I developed professionally, as well as original projects created specifically for OSC. Each artifact highlights the performance challenge, design approach, and solution, with additional context about its relationship to my professional experience.
Learning and Performance Support
The initial collection focuses on onboarding and supporting universal customer service and sales agents, connecting foundational product training with interactive decision support and point-of-need resources.
A Living Portfolio
This is a living portfolio. Artifacts will be refined and expanded as the fictional organization evolves, with significant updates documented in the revision history. AI-assisted development of OSC's fictional organization and stakeholder personas provides a foundation for future scenario-based projects and evolving business requirements.
